This sporran chain is designed to loop through the back of a kilt and allow the sporran to hang approximately 4–6 inches below the top of the kilt for a classic, balanced look. Attachment points can be adjusted to fine-tune fit.

How to measure for the correct size:
Always measure while wearing your kilt. Sporran chains are worn differently than standard belts, and placement depends on how your kilt is worn.

Traditional wear:
If the top of your kilt sits at or near your navel, measure around your navel.

Modern wear:
If the top of your kilt sits at your waistline, measure around your waistline.

After measuring, add 4–6 inches to allow proper sporran drop. If you fall near the upper end of a size range, ordering up is recommended, as attachment points can be adjusted to reduce length. If you’re unsure how to measure, feel free to contact me and I’ll walk you through it.
